I am formally trained in Dance/Movement Therapy.

This is an emotional therapy practice. It is unique and special because it unites the world of traditional therapy and the alternative holistic and spiritual therapies emerging today.

I am also an educator, focusing on teaching English as a Second Language (ESL).

As a native English speaker with the sensitivity of a therapist, I help my students improve their communication skills in English. I teach both in person and online via Zoom.

Dance Movement Therapy

Dance Movement Therapy is one of the Creative Arts Therapies, an emotional therapy model in which a sense of self can be seen both in the form of words, and also through the body in the form of nonverbal expression.

In my practice I work with people through mindfulness practices and somatic experiencing, helping them become more in tune with their body experience and how it relates to their emotional experience.

We work to enhance personal strengths, and also lean into their challenges and hardships, to become more balanced and resilient with the waves that unfold in life.

In the beginning, I strive to meet each person where they are, invite them to learn, explore, and become curious about their inner experience.

Together we can work with the basics of dance/movement therapy, taking a creative approach to listening to one's self, and be open to finding the right path to work towards healing wounds and develop life skills that can help enhance resilience.

My background in therapy includes adult psychiatry, infant and adolescent autism, and culture-sensitive therapy with youth. I also offer group movement sessions.

English as a Second Language (ESL)

In addition, I have developed myself as an English (ESL) teacher.

I teach all ages and all ranges.

I am able to work with students with special needs and learning disabilities.
